Farm & Food Friday July 1, 2016

Happy Friday before the Fourth! Monday is Independence Day, so that means you’ve got a couple of days to get some garden fresh veggies and local, pastured meat to prepare for your cook-out on Monday. And don’t forget the cold watermelon for after the parade!

Here’s what’s coming up:

July 2 & 7
Gift Basket Drawing
The Corner Market
Saturday’s8am-Noon • Corner of Walker & S. Elam Ave
Wednesday’s • 530pm-8pm • 1000 West Friendly Avenue on the grounds of First Baptist Church
Every $5 and over purchase from a vendor, gets you a chance to enter the drawing

From Saturday July 2nd to Wednesday July 27th, every time you make a $5 or more purchase at any of our vendors you will receive a chance to enter your name into a drawing for a gift basket from our market. The more vendors and times you visit on Wednesday or Saturday, the more chances to win our monthly gift basket. It’s just our way of thanking you for coming to the market and helping support your local vendors – and for helping us build a community.

Just a reminder to folks that we still have a small grant to double SNAP/EBT purchases thanks to the Cone Health Foundation.
