Farm & Food Friday July 1, 2016

Happy Friday before the Fourth! Monday is Independence Day, so that means you’ve got a couple of days to get some garden fresh veggies and local, pastured meat to prepare for your cook-out on Monday. And don’t forget the cold watermelon for after the parade!

Here’s what’s coming up:

Gift Basket Drawing
The Corner Market
Saturday’s8am-Noon • Corner of Walker & S. Elam Ave
Wednesday’s • 530pm-8pm • 1000 West Friendly Avenue on the grounds of First Baptist Church
Every $5 and over purchase from a vendor, gets you a chance to enter the drawing

From Saturday July 2nd to Wednesday July 27th, every time you make a $5 or more purchase at any of our vendors you will receive a chance to enter your name into a drawing for a gift basket from our market. Just a reminder to folks that we still have a small grant to double SNAP/EBT purchases thanks to the Cone Health Foundation.
