Scrambled Southern Diner serves more than just breakfast! They have a full menu of sandwiches and a blue plate special every weekday. The food, like the space itself, walks the line between sophisticated and down-home and much like the staff, is welcoming and friendly.
Saturdays in Sax has a little bit of everything—live music, fresh food, local wine, plants, and even a giant slip-and-slide for the kids (sorry adults!) Not really a farmer’s market, it’s more like a weekly music festival with food, and it is completely delightful.
Iron Hen serves up local and delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cozy and bright space off Wendover Avenue in Greensboro. Some big expansion plans are underway in 2015 that will round out their catering and restaurant enterprises to include a bakery-coffeeshop, fast-casual burger place, a poultry-focused dinner spot and–get ready for it–a speakeasy.
