Welcome, local food enthusiasts! What did y’all get up to last month?
We enjoyed the first fundraising event for their food assistance programs at the Greensboro Farmer’s Curb Market. The shrimp, crabs, and oysters were killer! Thanks to George Smith for helping to mastermind it and John Handler and other volunteer farmer/cooks.

Land Jam 2019

Tickets are $40, $30, $20 or $15, depending on seating location.
Piedmont Land Conservancy helps protect farmland for future generations, helping all of us have more secure access to locally produced food.
October 19
Apple Festival
Lincolnton
The Festival features five local apple growers, a farmer’s market, local talent on two stages, foods that include whole apple pies, kid’s activities, and more than 250 vendors with crafts and exhibits to delight all ages.
