Farm & Food Friday, July 10

Oooweee. Must be summer because I don’t want to do anything but sit on the porch in the glider and read a book. I’ll tear myself away for work, blog posts, market visits, gardening, walks, bike rides, and swims, but other than that, please don’t ask. That said, a visit to the market for tomato day on Saturday sounds like a real treat!

This week we are joined by the children and parents from Lindley Elementary. The stand will include fresh picked produce and baked goods. Produced by the K-5 students at Lindley Elementary, planted in spring, and all proceeds to the PTA and back into the healthy eating initiative garden project. If you click on the link you can see a short video we made in 2014 about the garden.
